About
Billionaire Boys Club blends streetwear and luxury, emphasizing creativity, individuality, and self-expression over material wealth. This brand was heavily involved with the rap duo Clipse during their (and Billionaire Boys Club) rise in the early 2000's. To celebrate the group's reunion and the release of their new album, Let God Sort Em' Out, we were tasked with creating social and digital assets to promote the album across Billionaire Boys Club social channels and their website. Additonally, this all culminated to an exclusive LGSEO listening party, hosted by Billionaire Boys Club.

Exploration
The strategy behind this was to "restore the feeling": to envoke nostalgia by highlighting previous work by Clipse and heckoning back to the early 2000's, where they were most popular. To do this. we relied heavily on iconography from past cover art and images of the artists. Additionally, tried to take some design cues from that era, specifically with the early designs of the blog.
Ultimately, this was scaled back to better reflect Billionaire Boys Club's minmalist visual approach.
These designs are broken up into 3 areas: social, listening party box, and the blog.
Social
Lyric and interview callouts.

Listening Party Box
This package included a shirt, a thumbdrive loaded with visual assets, and a postcard encouraging fans to enjoy the experience. We focused on creating the thumbdrive content and the postcard.
Poster and desktop wallpapers designed by Jay DeGrace.

The Blog
We wanted this to feel like it belongs in the early 2000's. Large website headers, an entrance page, and a static, textured background helped to bring a feel of an older website to this project.
This concept/design ended up being scaled down to fit Billionaire Boy's Club current design system.
